was just browsing through channels on the telly when i came across Jamie Cullum's version of Rihanna's Don't Stop the Music.

it's definitely different from the usual electronic beats.

have yet to decide whether i like it better than the original one or not since i'm not really a big fan of Jamie Cullum's voice. but neither do i find Rihanna's voice a pleasure to my ears.

anyways it's a monday and i'm online... why? because i'm sending some pics to my friend for a school leaver's page.. yupss we get our own page on the school mag and we get to do anything we like =) how cool is that? quite huh? well it should be coz we're pay a crazy 1500 bucks for two coloured A4 size pages.. so expansive right?? RM26 per person.. i heard today that SPM trials are starting 3rd of august!!!! arrrgh! so fast i'm really shaking! =( so i shall quickly send the photos and go study.. rarh!!! =(=(=(

gonna be super busy... with the cultural night coming up.. dance, banners, deco... someone just shoot me -.- pls? ahhahaha no la i'm just dreading all that.. so i have resolved to not go out for any outings till SPM is over.. no movies, no parties =( not even my own (how sad is that), no sleepovers (sorry nielle, nise), no more shopping now that's a bummer.. sigh but i'll be going down to s'pore after SPM to see my friends there.. nicoleeee i misser you! but for now... i must focus on studying.. so if i start saying things like "hey lets go watch..." or "lets have a sleepover/lets go shopping" you must must must shake me back to reality which is i have about a month to get ready for trials!!!! ok i think i've scared myself enough... grr stupid add math and bm projects.. seriously someone pls shoot me? nah.. not yet..

i learnt a new song yesterday and i love it! it's in malay but it's oh-so-nice! the lyrics are really meaningful. it goes something like this:

CAMP IS TOMORROW!!

yes yes the long awaited time of the year has come... no not yc camp (haha gotcha there =b) it's CHRISTMAS!! i've been thinking bout christmas.. it's suppose to be a joyous occasion no? but i kinda feel emo on this one this year.. not the emo= sad, angry, upset, the-why-is-the-whole-world-against-me kinda thing.. but rather the gratefulness of God's wonderful grace, the realisation of the BIG sacrifice God made just so we could all have eternal life.. i cant help but be in awe of Him.. wouldnt you be if you'd known that someone had died for you two thousand years back.. thinking about you even before you were born.. bearing OUR sins and shame on the cross.. well this is the reason why i feel that christmas in THE BEST time of the year..
it's not about hanging decorations on christmas trees
or the snowball fights they have overseas (which constantly reminds me to pray for snow in Malaysia *winks*)

nor is it about the best/cutest/biggest/smallest snowman one could make


to me christmas is a gift. a gift of hope, a gift of love, a gift of forgiveness and a gift of grace. all in all it's God's gift to humankind.. though we all know this already.. i just hope that all of us wont for get the reason why we actually celebrate christmas.. which reminds me of a song, 'We Are The Reason' by Avalon.. though i dunno how to put up the song, here are the lyrics:

yesterday belle sent me an sms i'll never ever forget(well actually she sent it to someone else too, think it's hang):

that just really made my day! and what's more just when i was thinking bout her, i got that sms! God is just awesome! i wanna give Him all my thanks for placing me belle and hang in the same cg. both of them just rock! i love them soooo much! i'd like to dedicate a song to both of you.. well maybe the lyrics hehehe this song is by point of grace and it's title is 'Circle of friends'
